The company came to us in its previous incarnation as Solid State Supplies, looking for a name change and a reinvention of its brand to articulate more boldly its unique position in the market.

We proposed Solsta as a modern, dynamic contraction of Solid State Supplies. An echo of the original name, Solsta is contemporary, memorable and, in its astrological allusions, a definite shining light in the sector.
Our new logo cleverly captured Solsta’s centricity within the electronics community, through an instantly identifiable symbol representing customers, suppliers and Solsta’s place between them. Our strapline – The vital component – powerfully reinforced this new brand positioning.
